Scholarship Application

A limited number of partial tuition scholarships are available each school year to students who show a strong dedication to music but may face financial barriers to private lessons. To apply for a scholarship, please fill out the form below and upload proof of income documents. New students must also submit an Application Form and attend a trial lesson in order to be considered for a scholarship.

Please note that private lesson scholarships are reserved for families with a household income under $80,000 per year and are awarded based on both financial need and the student’s commitment to dedicating a significant amount of time to their music studies. Scholarships cover up to 75% of the cost of monthly tuition for up to one school year. Students who are awarded any amount of tuition assistance will be required to sign a personalized Scholarship Agreement. This agreement outlines the student’s commitment to prioritizing their music education and making a positive contribution to our cello studio and the Santa Barbara music community.
