Each school year, Dr. Chenoa Orme-Stone’s Cello Studio welcomes a dedicated Teaching Assistant, many of whom have gone on to pursue music careers or take on leadership roles in ensembles. The TA role provides a full scholarship for private cello lessons—focused on playing, pedagogy, or other mentorship—for one school year, along with a small stipend, in exchange for providing secondary lessons and additional support to studio members who need extra guidance. TAs may also observe private and group lessons, gaining insight into teaching strategies and studio management. In addition to benefiting younger students, the position is designed to cultivate future educators and musical leaders by offering meaningful, hands-on teaching experience.
